News & Information
"Together with parents and educators, Stafford County's school counselors assist all students to respond to educational, career development, and social and emotional needs.  Children's lives are constantly changing and their lives are affected by today's societal issues.  Such issues may cause children to have difficulty achieving their academic potential.  All students can benefit from the assistance provided by a school counselor."  (SCPS School Counseling Program 2007-2008)

Scheduling Information and Class Applications
This is a reminder to all students interested in taking a CTE class next year that they will need to pick up the required CTE Application in the Counseling Center. Some examples are: Auto Tech, Masonry, EMT, Electricity, Cosmetology, and Carpentry. The applications are printed on green and yellow paper and are located to your right beside the door leading to the main office. These need to be completed and returned ASAP.

Attention all freshmen, sophomores and juniors: Students DO NOT need to sign up to see their Counselors to be seen regarding their schedules for next year. Students will receive a pass from their Counselor to review the white and yellow request sheets they have already turned in. Students will be seen in the following order – juniors first, sophomores and then freshman. (The order DOES NOT determine if a class will work in your schedule or not!!) If a parent would like to meet with the student and their child’s counselor they will need to contact Mrs. Bryant in the Counseling Center to schedule an appointment.
